@london_Akan Who voted for Arteta to become the coach of the month? I pray this curse does not haunt us.
English

I guess you are because you don’t judge a matter without getting your facts and figures right?
VDM’s picture was used in BLord’s app and it was used to trade gift cards, this is an app that started their misunderstanding because some people claim their payments are not accurate or complete on the app and sometimes some funds get missing.
Now you are using the person’s picture for what he does not like or believe in.
You mentioned Davido, did Davido not insult someone when he posted his family’s picture? People have different things that trigger them and there are laws out in place to avoid misuse of people’s image rights.
Imagine they post your picture as part of terrorists, won’t you tackle or sue the person knowing that the same thing can make you banned from travelling out or entering some countries.

Oppressors Shouldn't Disguise As Freedom Fighters...
Omoyele Sowore knows uncountable people amongst the rank and file and high class of the Police.
In fact, many of his class and course mates are in the top echelon of the Police and military.
Sowore knows many judges. Sowore knows magistrates. Sowore knows many traditional rulers and even diplomats.
Sowore knows operatives in all cadres of the SSS and even the NIA.
Sowore knows very many powerful and influential politicians.
Nevertheless, Sowore is one of the most abused, defamed, villified and lied-against Nigerian. People say all kinds of things about him without any shred of evidence. Someone even told me on the phone yesterday that he visited Abuja and when he went to Sowore's palatial personal mansion, he was dumb-struck and when I asked him where this Sowore personal house in Abuja is located, he started laughing sheepishly.
But Sowore has never, in his more than 25 years of activism, called any of the people he knows, to arrest or humiliate any Nigerian for abusing, defaming or lying against him.
Everyone that knows him knows he is not a coward, by all standards. He fights institutions. Not individuals. Even those who hate him and his guts, both the rich and poor, run back to him when oppression knocks on their doors. He fights the most for his enemies, to the chagrin of those of us who follow him.
As his disciple, I also learnt that from him very early. He keeps telling us that, it is wrong to use the Police or any security agencies to run after people over civil matters. He tells us that is what thieving politicians and their acolytes do to the poor and we should rather fight against it with all our strength. He emphasizes that, if we must drag anyone to court when offended, we should call a lawyer and not the Police.
Anytime people who describe themselves as activists or social crusaders resort to using state instruments of terror to run after fellow citizens and relish it, they have simply joined the train we are seeking to stop by all means and they do not deserve that toga.
And if you are clapping for such inanity, you aren't different from the oppressor, you simply haven't gotten the opportunity to do yours. Simplicita!
Yours sincerely,
Citizen Agba Jalingo.

🚨🎙️ | Ian Wright on Mikel Arteta:
🗣️ “One day, I had a conversation with Arteta in the tunnel — it was in 2025, just after finishing second again.
🗣️ He told me something I’ll never forget:
‘I’ve noted every mistake, I’ve made every mistake, I’ve seen every mistake… but I believe I’ve learned from every single one of them.’
🗣️ You could see the sadness on his face when he said it.
🗣️ That moment makes me believe — he will cross the line and win the league this season .” 🔴⚪️🔥

Impersonation, fraud, forgery is not a civil matter.
Please education is important.
A lot of people have died and have been put into prison when they used their information without them knowing.
I saw a video of a girl who bought a SIM card and they had used the SIM card for kidnapping, collected 50M ransom and also killed the person, the young girl never knew about it but they seriously harasses her and she would have landed in prison if not that she was lucky that they went to confirm with the telecoms company.
Imagine they said you said something bad against the president and they lock you up for what you did not do. Forget cruise, using someone’s image to scam people or associate someone’s reputation with something you are not.
Imagine someone claiming you are gay when you are straight and they frame you with it that you did something you did not do.
Or imagine they use your picture to scam someone abroad and they come to arrest you.
English

Before people rush to react emotionally to what Omoyele Sowore said about B-Lord and Kuje Prison, let’s be clear about what is actually at stake. This is not about personalities, it’s about power and how it is being abused. There is absolutely nothing admirable about using influence to drag someone into detention over what appears to be a civil matter. That is not justice, it is repression dressed up as authority.
From everything we can see, the issue involving B-Lord looks like something that should be handled through dialogue, settlement, or civil legal channels, not imprisonment. The moment disputes like this are escalated into criminal cases, it signals a dangerous willingness to weaponize the system. Prison should never be a tool for settling personal scores or proving who holds more power.
Let’s call it what it is: using connections in the police or judiciary to lock someone up to show dominance is an abuse of power.
It undermines the very foundation of justice and turns institutions into instruments of fear. Today it’s B-Lord. Tomorrow it could be anyone who crosses the wrong person.
That is why Sowore stance matters. It is not about excusing wrongdoing, if any exists, but about drawing a hard line against the misuse of state machinery. Due process is not optional. Justice cannot be selective. And power must never be allowed to operate without accountability.
Any society that stays silent in the face of this kind of behavior is slowly accepting injustice as normal. And once that line is crossed, it becomes harder and harder to reclaim fairness, freedom, and the rule of law.

x.com/gyo14keres/sta… Most of the Sweden team went for an after party after qualifying for the world cup.
Gyökeres didn't. He returned on the first plane back to London.
Couple this with all the sacrifices he made to come here. Giving up money to chase 1 last chance at a legacy
These are the guys that succeed no matter what
Compare this attitude to Saka who is busy promoting nando sauce when they've been shit all season. Or doing podcasts with Rio Ferdinand like Jesus in the middle of a title race.
One clearly has his priorities straight. Does everyone else?
English

@RIAOFIBADAN VDM respect am normally, he even mentioned it that Sowore is an uncle to him and not senior brother but Sowore did not act like a brother talkless of an uncle.
English

For the records, VDM saying IF THEY BORN YOU WELL is not a decent statement to someone like SOWORE.
When VDM mentioned, SOWORE should have called me and we will resolved it, I'm sure that part would have touched Sowore as well but you going ahead to say if they born you well he should do this and that is not good enough.
Even though na Sowore put mouth for wetin no concern ham, you should respect him, he is a presidential candidate for Christ sake.
Senior man for that matter, VDM should be calming down o.
English

Sowore would have made much more impact by discussing outside the law and trying to negotiate with or beg VDM over BLord’s case but now he risks his personality and everything to be insulted by VDM, someone who was still running around in pants when you were involved in activism.
All in the name of chasing clout or showing bigmanism.
If you want to jump on a cause, jump on a good cause. Blord is not a poor man that VDM will oppress.
Blord showed that education is not scam.
English

Blord messed himself up seriously. Igbos are smarter than that. My Igbo friends are the ones you talk to for great ideas and they always turn up. However he is not educated and ego will also not let him listen to other people that will him the truth. For instance why will you use VDMs image in your app for selling or redeeming gift cards.
Apart from what VDM did in Nigeria, VDM can even reach out to Apple to suspend his app. Remember when a song Tiwa Savage sang was brought down on YouTube just because it had just few lines similar another artiste’s song.
I expect him to have a product manager for his app but I don’t know if he tells the developers what to do directly.
English

Dear @sowore come out plain, WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR?
You cannot tell me VDM is oppressing BLORD.
Even if you want to help BLORD on this case, calling VDM and speaking the activist language to him diplomatically would have been the best hero position you find yourself, not you saying you will disrupt the process of the case, AS WHO?
You significantly would spoil your reputation with the path you are following already, I was shocked that you termed what happened as Oppression?
For the last time you disappointed me, ehn Sowore posted that?
Hell no.

English

Today’s discussion is not about VDM vs Sowore. VDM is not perfect, VDM might be doing all or some of these things you mentioned but that’s not the case here, the case here is that a man who lacks sound education or is half educated and could not seek advise of other people who are educated chose to use another person’s image to conduct business without getting the person’s consent. It is a jailable offense anywhere in the world.
Nobody is talking about whether VDM is better than Blord today or if VDM is a good person than Sowore, the discussion is that BLord acted like an illiterate.
Copying people’s work and reposting, reprinting, pirating movies and the rest are all jailable offences in a developed country.
So if Sowore is saying we don’t have a good judiciary system in Nigeria, they choose to use BLord case as an example that the Judiciary is still powerful or active.
English

A lot of people have stopped reaching out to @vdmempire because of his selective, paid interventions. Many have contacted him for help, but his fees are often too high.Yet, the same person is out here comparing himself to and even threatening Sowore .Onikure.I’ll say it anywhere we are not on the same level when it comes to activism. Over here, we don’t charge to take up people’s cases.
English

It’s not about who is bigger, VDM knows the law and he stays within the confines of law when he is doing his craze. I saw VDM picture in Blord app where he used it for selling cards, Blord showed that education is a scam. If he had a product manager, he/she should have advised him against using VDM image on the app.
VDM is even nice to him, if VDM reports him to Apple, they can suspend his app and income.
English

It’s in Nigeria that we do anyhow, VDM knows the law and he stays within the confines of law when he is doing his craze. I saw VDM picture in Blord app where he used it for selling cards, Blord showed that education is not a scam. If he had a product manager, he/she should have advised him against using VDM image on the app.
VDM is even nice to him, if VDM reports him to Apple, they can suspend his app and income.
You don’t use people image without reaching out to them, one will land in prison in a developed country. Sowore is defending something that is wrong.
VDM calling out GTbank is different because he was fighting for his fundamental right, they held him against his will.
English

This generation doesn’t fight oppression—we curate it. We pick and choose which injustice deserves outrage based on who’s involved. If the victim isn’t “one of us,” we scroll past, stay silent, or worse—join the mob.
So let’s be clear.
Did Blord kill anyone? No.
Did he steal? No.
Did he rape? No.
So what exactly is the offense? An alleged misuse of identity—something born from online back-and-forth, the same digital playground both parties willingly stepped into. Or have we forgotten that VDM himself tried to trademark Blord’s name?
Yet suddenly, the full weight of the law is unleashed.
Why now? Why this energy?
This isn’t justice. This is selective outrage dressed up as morality.
And then comes the hypocrisy.
When Sowore speaks for someone you like, he’s a hero—a fearless voice, a revolutionary. You cheered him when he defended Regina Daniels against Ned Nwoko. You amplified him. You praised his courage.
But the moment he defends someone you’ve decided to hate, he becomes a nuisance. A “clout chaser.” An “attention seeker.”
Same man.
Same principles. Different target—different reaction.
That’s not integrity.
That’s tribalism.
You don’t stand for justice.
You stand for comfort.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth: voices like Sowore’s don’t bend to public mood swings.
They don’t wait for permission. They don’t check popularity charts before speaking.
Call him names. Troll him. Try to drown him out.
It won’t work.
Because this isn’t about liking Blord or disliking VDM. It’s about whether the law is a tool for justice—or a weapon for convenience.
Some of us have already chosen.
We don’t move with the crowd.
We don’t switch sides for applause.
We don’t dilute truth to fit narratives.
We stand on principle—loud, unshaken, and unapologetic.

English

Exactly my point, he showed that education is a scam. If he had a product manager, he/she should have advised him against using VDM image on the app.
VDM is even nice to him, if VDM reports him to Apple, they can suspend his app and income.
Oduduwa Republic@OduduwaR
VDM is right on what he did to Blord. Blord practically act like an illiterate and VDM saw that loophole and he used it to his own advantage. Sowore step in is good but VDM hasn’t done anything wrong. After all it is the court that remand Blord not a police forceful detention.

Firstly if Arsenal meet Mancity in FA cup, Arsenal will win. Arteta won Mancity when he had no good players.
Arsenal has a record of winning FA cups.
Arsenal struggles at Carabao cups, Wenger played three finals but never won one, Arteta too has lost.
Expect minimum of double once Arsenal win the premier league.
English

🚨🚨🎙️ | Paul Merson on Arsenal F.C.:
🗣️ “I don’t see Arsenal winning anything other than the Premier League.
🗣️ Manchester City are still in the FA Cup, and after watching that Carabao Cup final, you’d be surprised if Arsenal went back to Wembley and beat them.
🗣️ And in the Champions League… I look at FC Barcelona — if Arsenal face them, I don’t think they have the pace to trouble Barcelona’s high line.”
What you make of Merson's words gooners? __

English

You know when they say education is not scam.
BLord played into VDM’s hand.
VDM patented Blord (which is a nickname) for some categories which he Blord did not do.
BLord went to use VDM’s image, you don’t need to patent your own image or look.
VDM knows all these laws and he uses them or applies them well
English

You are still talking like someone who is ignorant. Imagine someone kills someone and they find a way to get your fingerprint on the gun. Using someone’s image rights without approval is a punishable offence as they can use his image for wrongdoing.
It’s people like you that surround Blord that did not advise him.
There is a general course we do in final year in the university that talks about rights, patent and all. Plagiarism is a punishable offence but we don’t take all this things serious in Nigeria.
You copy someone’s work and you don’t acknowledge or cite the person who did the original work, it will land you in prison abroad.
English

@GuyMr10 No one is saying VDM can’t protect his image…..
But the tone used on Sowore felt off.
True strength respects the shoulders it stands on…..
Nigeria needs both, not beef. 🇳🇬
