This is probably one of the best speeches in committee I have EVER heard. We often hear passionate emotional speeches and I applaud that, but this is a forensic dismantling of a woman who arrogantly thinks she and the administration she belongs to are above the law. THEY ARE NOT. Kristi Noem attended the hearing intent on being obstructive and dismissive and Chris Murphy gave her a masterclass in the constitutional responsibilities of government. I salute you sir. 🎥 TikTok - vm.tiktok.com/ZNd6nAsuy/

This was a bit unreal to watch. A foreign leader speaking to a sitting U.S. President like this. Glad @realDonaldTrump & @JDVance are standing up for America.🇺🇸

A thoroughly unconvincing night that shapes Ireland’s year to a negative They have failed to hit their gears since Marseille, and despite an excellent defensive effort, lots of questions to be answered Josh, Crowley + Mack the best in green, while Porter was Porter for 74 min

Not a bad performance and a decent point but could have been 3! Two glaring issues remain: 1. Farkes subs and 2. Set-pieces…surely we can be creative and come up with some better routines!#lufc #mot

@PhilHay_ Fcukin joke shop! Why does he persist with the midfield duo who are so far off it at both ends of the pitch!🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😡

@PhilHay_ Yeah but we’re making the changes far too late. Either need to start Joseph or bring him on at half time.

Robins: "You're coming up against a top team, with quality, with know-how. I thought we defended pretty well where you have to. We were pretty good and calm. Second half we were without the ball more. (Leeds) made smart changes. It's a joke - their squad's unbelievable." #lufc

#LUFC defensive stats this season are incredible. People talk about the difference on divisions - you still have to perform after 2 confidence shaking record breaking disastrous defensive seasons conceding 150+ goals. In errors leading to a shot Leeds have the fewest in the Championship with 4. Leicester have the most with 17. In % of dribblers tackled Leeds lead the Championship with 56.6. Leeds have conceded the fewest chances, fewest high quality chances, shots and expected goals against. The Whites have the most clean sheets - 16. That's 44.4% opponents have been unable to score. Meslier, after performing poorly in the Prem, has met his expected save data this season. Southampton by contrast, have conceded 8 goals more than expected, while Leicester's goalkeeper has saved 4 more than expected. Yes the quality of the opposition has significantly dropped. But that does not account for a team that was conceding record numbers of goals in the Premier League, who now leads the Championship in almost every defensive stat available. Where Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester have the edge on Leeds has been in outperforming their own expected goals. Leicester xG is 1.82, they've scored 1.97. Ipswich xG is 1.64, they've scored 1.92. Southampton xG is 1.74, they've scored 1.91. By contrast Leeds were expected to score 1.77 goals and actually scored 1.75. Having a mainly young strike force, Leeds shot on target % has been their weakness, where they sit 11th. Creating better chances and converting them is the key area for improvement in the last 10 games. Which is ridiculous when you consider they are top of the division for non-penalty expected goals. Of course they could be awarded more penalties, with 7 this season they trail Leicester's whopping 11. But as that's unlikely, the fine margins of improvement in a record breaking team are there. Such is the over performance of their opponents this year that a team that has broken a 92 year old club record, and a 53 year old club record, will have to make some marginal gains, to stay competitive. Better set pieces, more accurate final third passes and more clinical finishing are the way for #LUFC to gain automatic promotion. Stats from: fbref and LUFCData

@lufcMM0 Average player who looks out of shape but equally probably our best finisher - give him last 10/15 mins of a game. Can’t deal with the intensity of a game from the start!

@philmcnulty Sorry but why all the blaming of VAR here - the referee was the ultimate decision maker - given a clear view of the incident and ultimately made a wrong call but can’t blame VAR for his ineptitude?!

People aren’t keen on Elon’s Twitter but the “readers added context” feature is genuinely excellent. Here’s the actual prime minister of the United Kingdom being quite correctly called out for his massive lies.

I want to protect the price of your pint at the pub. And now the UK has left the EU, we can do just that. So we’re bringing in one of the biggest shake ups to the alcohol duty system in the last 140 years. The plan 🧵👇
