@IchBinQL @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I swapped a lillies for cipher and a passimian for a trumpet. Cipher just felt better and I didn’t have any match ups I was worried about to keep passimian.

Won a challenge today with 58 of 60 cards from @Ian__Robb’s bolt(?) list. This deck gets to set up and play most games which kind of feels like its biggest strength. Shout out to @FCBCArmor.

@joshgreiff @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor There are pros and cons to both. Getting retreat locked after the leaves requires more pieces to get out of the lock again.

@Cooooooorey @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor Why pech over iron leaves? Iron leaves has also been useful for me as a surprise turn 1 attacker off of cyrano

@donsylvano @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I think cipher is worth the spot purely because there’s turns where drawing the two exact cards you need to close out the game are crucial.

@Cooooooorey @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I have 2 Lillie’s clef art for pull and Lucario match up, but maybe not worth it. How much did you use cypher ? I feel can be great to get the stamp. But need to be good with energy set up.

@CaptainBarbozaa @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor Basically every match up besides lucario. You want it in the active asap to start attacking with and drawing cards. Your optimal turn one is one energy on kanga and getting it into the active.

@SpinecoTCG @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor Might be useful in the one prizer match ups. I honestly haven’t played the deck enough to know if I would miss it or not.

@AnthonyFarnese @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor The pech is for the iron leaves switch out. Lillie’s clefairy is a little redundant given we can blow up a pult with bolt. Also it getting one shot by pult is a little problematic.

@vithmialw @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor Team rocket's articuno most likely won't work too well. But baby koraidon and xerosic might be enough.

@Cooooooorey @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor Got it, I was thinking about running a baby Koraidon, or Team Rocket’s Articuno, or maybe even a Xerosic.

@vithmialw @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I see, yeah this doesn't really have the tools to deal with alakazam. I guess maybe just try and lead with baby bolt as long as possible, and then you'll have to hop that judge into kang KO is enough to get you through at some point.

@Cooooooorey @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I’m going to play a League Cup tomorrow with this list, and I don’t know how to deal with Alakazam — it’s difficult.

@vithmialw @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor Theoretically you're supposed to stamp (push kang after probably), and then after they build up their hand again you xerosic and hope they can't recover. Idk how often that actually works out though.

@Cooooooorey @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I guess you just figure to take the L to Crustle then? I guess that's fine considering it's not nearly as popular as it was a few weeks ago

@_TLMC_ @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I didn't really feel like it added much. I think the main reason cited by Ian was that it KOs other kangs, but you need 8 guys on board to do that and it felt somewhat unrealistic to get that early. And against the other one prizer decks I'd rather stick a big guy in active.

@_TLMC_ @Ian__Robb @FCBCArmor I actually didn't use lillie's at all today so nope! I think it's kind of the weakest supporter in the deck IMO

in preparation for going to universal i watched all of the harry potter movies and my analysis is that if you break it all down to a Harold vs. Thomas battle it rly takes the edge off of the whole thing
