What a great night getting to see Coach Tim Cochran get inducted into the Texas Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame!! This has been a long time coming and so well earned. Coach Cochran is a legend in the Panhandle and he has positively impacted the lives of so many players and coaches.

We would like to announce our second inductee to this year's Canyon ISD Athletics Hall of Fame.

@CooperR1c5 and his @CanyonHSTNS teammates ended their season as @uiltexas STATE runners-up. He was undefeated in singles this season at 28-0. This makes #UILState medal number 18 for our family. We have been blessed. Proud of you son!!!!

The Eagles fall to Wimberley 5-10 today in the state final. Thank you to our seniors for leading us to our best season this decade! 🦅🎾💜

What a District 4-4A match as #3 @CanyonHSTNS takes down #2 @RandallTennis 10-9. Canyon’s #6 girls singles, Johnna Finke, wins a 10-7 super tiebreak to seal the victory.

Cooper finished his junior season as the SECOND BEST 4A BOYS SINGLES PLAYER IN THE STATE yesterday.

West Plains High School has been open for 3 years, and all 3 years @WPlainsTNS has had an individual medalist.(1 Gold, 2 Silvers) Impressive run by Coach Cochran, Coach Bagwell, and our tennis players. Lots of work, time, commitment by all. @uiltexas @CanyonISD @CanyonAthDept

These 2 played a ton of tennis together during and since our time in Wall. Katelyn was 3rd in 3A singles, and Cooper was runner-up in 4A singles. There are not 2 better representives of their schools than these 2 student-athletes. Congrats to you both. @uiltexas @CanyonAthDept
