Day 3 from @NationalFFA @OtterCreekGCM sharing his expertise with the students. And the overall winner of our FFA competition in San Diego stopped by to say hello. He’s planning to defend his title when the @FieldExperts host in January.

Day 2 at FFA National begins with a visit from a student who participated in the National Turfgrass Science Invitational we hosted @GCSAA Conference in San Diego! Love that she tracked me down!

If you're here, come stop by our booth and say hi! 👋🏽 I didn’t even know this industry existed until I was around 25 years old. No one ever told me that turfgrass management could be a career—let alone one that could take you to places like Duke University. I used to think it was “just mowing grass,” but there’s so much more to it: irrigation, chemical applications, equipment mechanics, leadership, and more. It’s hands-on, challenging, and full of opportunity—and if you start young, the sky’s the limit. If you’re a student wondering what’s next after high school, come check it out. This could be your path—you just haven’t seen it yet.
