The most aggravating thing about all of this AI bullshit, is at first glance you can’t figure out what’s actually real or fake. On any platform of social media it’s littered with fake everything clogging the algorithm’s ability to deliver important information, news, etc. How the fuck are we going to fight for a very REAL climate change when every other video being seen by everyone is a deepfake. We are watering down very real problems and evidence with very believable deep fakes. The average person is not trained enough to spot a deep fake vs something very real. This is only going to lengthen any efforts to getting literally anything done in terms of impactful climate policy and changes. Congratulations 0.1% You’ve won again.
