@wesstreeting I would start with getting rid of management consultancies bleeding the coffers, and private companies contracted to run NHS services. Also curb the MASSIVE WASTE within the NHS.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Labour will never privatise the NHS. We’ll work with the private sector to cut NHS waiting lists while we build the staff, the equipment and the technology the NHS needs to treat patients on time.

@LuizaJarovsky @erikbryn @DigEconLab Currently any probing questions or concerns raised over #AI fall on deaf ears. For now the greedy are hell bent on making their millions. They must know that left unharnessed, AI will be detrimental to life as we know it. I am not scaremongering it's what I believe is to come.

@daveatherton If the drone pilot had a license from the CAA there should be no issues flying a drone. You get permission from the landowner whose land you take off from and land. Safety checks first blah blah and go. Only a few places are restricted.

Twelve British people have been arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000. All they did was put up a drone and looking to video 📹 any suspicious activities. Labour has played the Islamophobia ☪️ card. My robust response.

@1val1richy Evidence stripped to bare minimum. Fragmented and without context, left the jury with a distorted picture.

"Given its “vague wisps of evidence”, she wonders if the Crown Prosecution Service “should ever have taken the case to court”. She suggests the judge “could have considered dismissing it on the basis of how thin the evidence was”. " thetimes.com/culture/books/…

A huge new class action lawsuit has been filed by big publishers and authors against Google over AI training. It opens: "Desperate to maintain its online dominance, Google abandoned its early motto of 'Don’t be evil' and engaged in one of the most prolific infringements of copyrighted materials in history." It alleges that Google: - took millions of books / articles provided to them for use only in Google Books, Google Play Books, and Google Scholar, and secretly used them to train LLMs - had internal discussions where they flagged that using books publishers had provided them for other purposes was "highly problematic for Google" and could lead to "$10Bs-$100Bs in potential fines" - also trained on works from pirate sites & from behind paywalls - used all this to build an AI system that competes with the works Google copied

@LuizaJarovsky It seems pointless to ask these questions because the reality is that we will soon have little choice in the matter.

Would you still read a book if you discovered it was AI-generated? Would you still watch a movie if you discovered it was AI-generated? Would you still listen to a podcast if you discovered it was AI-generated?

As someone who grew up in the Muslim world, I’ve seen this pattern repeat itself: When Muslims are weak and in the minority, they speak endlessly about tolerance, coexistence, and peace. When they become strong and gain power, that tolerance completely disappears, even toward their own people. This isn’t an opinion. This is historical fact, proven across centuries and across many countries. The West needs to understand this pattern before it’s too late. Tolerance in Islam is not a principle. It’s a strategy.

@socialistworker I see the connection @bskye.app!! The very same foul verbal hatred that came out of trans person #heatherherbert. FYI no one is forcing you to mourn anyone. You simply need to learn to shut up & keep to yourself whatever sick thoughts you have inside that wrapped brain. #respect

Afghanistan was once Buddhist. Pakistan was once Hindu. Lebanon was once Christian. Do you think they all voted to become islamic shit holes? This is why we have borders, immigration policies, and a military, none of which matter if your government are globalist traitors.

She should be sat in her garden this evening, reflecting on her colourful life, proud of herself for not compromising on what she believed in for 78 years, even through this nonsensical period in which we live. I feel sure this wasn't some burglary gone wrong, I feel sure its more sinister and an indicator of how dangerous having an opinion has become in Britain in 2026. #RIPAnnWiddecombe
