GCA went 2-1 this week. I went 5-10 with a triple and two doubles. Below are a couple defensive plays at shortstop and some of my hits. The work that I have been putting in with @KyleBRB9 has been paying off. I went 5 for 8 this past week with 4 walks. Even though the team is young , we have been working together and getting stronger as a team. Shout out to our 8th grader, Lena Burnsworth for her first two Varsity homers, with the first being a Grand Slam! Starting the GCA softball season off strong with a tight battle at Perquimans County High School. For our fist game, our teamwork is through the roof. The Spring Season is coming! I am so excited for both school ball and travel ball. I have been working hard hitting with @KyleBRB9 and in the gym, hitting new PRs. I got two more new PRs with the help of Coach Carli and @KyleBRB9 did a breakdown of the improvements I have been making in my swing.
