@sisterlelianas DA2, which was developed in like 14-16 months (barely above a year) had better carry-overs then DAV, which is why it makes me sad to see. We know it's possible, so the expectation shouldn't even be considered that high and it just fell short. I love the game but still.. Sad.

realistically, there was very little DA devs could’ve done, with 3 years of development, to honour every choice we have made in past games. we have established that. but why were the 3, and ONLY 3, choices you’re able to carry on over to DAV, completely and utterly irrelevant?

@dreamflights_ Huh? For me, the game remembers my last used outfit for a battle. I don't even have to press anything, it loads in like that. That's so weird that for you guys it's not. 🤨

we need auto dress up, being able to use our best scoring/last outfit for a battle we’ve already done, & being able to see how much an item scores for an attribute without having to see its full stats in infinity nikki styling battles (this screenshot is from shining nikki btw)

@lavellan_l74450 @FourthSalty @janeshepards I think we should also remember that Solas was a spirit who took on a physical body. And we know that spirits reflect the thoughts and emotions of mortals. So in this case, Solas basically reflects Rook believing him to be an "unredeemable would be god".

@FourthSalty @janeshepards He constantly insists that he is NOT a god and gets irritated whenever anyone refers to him as one. He also holds the belief that Evanuris are NOT gods. It is not only in DAV but also in DAI. That’s why, to me, it felt completely out of character and cheap. Sorry, worst ending fm

@maatdraws My canon HoF is Queen Hannah Cousland, Hawke is Marian (default ❣️), Inky is Lanathara (Lana) Lavellan deep in Solavellan hell and Rook is Morviana (Via) Ingellvar. In my hc, no one calls her "Rook", they all call her Via and no one can change my mind! 😂

@rotten_werk I'm with you. I only played my first DA game in like 2020. And that was Inquisition. I loved it so much that after a year, I tried the rest of the games and was surprised how vastly different each of them are. And now, Veilguard is also different. Not perfect, but still DA. 🤷‍♀️

so fucking glad i waited til july to touch any of the dragon age games for the first time because i fear a lot of yall are blinded by nostalgia and violently resistant to change

When you talk about the Inquisition with Harding, Rook asks how long she was with them, 10 years? And she says something like that. I don't think she would just wave that extra 2 years off, she would correct it. 1/2
