I think the sale going through is more of a formality than anything else. I don't see any reason why any other owners would shoot it down.

Jones has been an excellent player throughout his NFL career. But the Rams wouldn't reward him with an extension and made him spend a three-month vacation in Tennessee before the Seahawks stole him for peanuts. He's a top-three off ball linebacker in today's game. No doubt.

The more I've thought about this today... I think if you came up with a Top 10 most underrated players in the NFL ranking, Ernest Jones would absolutely have to be in the top three. It's surprising he actually got All-Pro honors last year because he always seems under the radar.

It’s expected that there then will be a vote on the Seattle Seahawks’ ownership transaction, pending the Finance Committee review. There will also be an update on football and business matters related to the upcoming season.

The Mariners, like a lot of teams, shied away from high schoolers due to NIL + lack of HS depth in this year's pool. There also seems to be a lot of distance between the SEC and the rest, but the M's did pick two non-SEC guys in their first six. Here's my report on one of them:
