I've seen Gamers™ complain about so much in regard to Veilguard, but it's hilarious when they complain about something Mass Effect is guilty of too. For example, loyalty quests. "The world's about to end, let's play therapist to our followers." ME2 is the epitome of this.

@CorbynRed @Some_Pixy @TheMothershipYT Yeah and it was widely criticised for it, because it doesn’t fit a Dragon Age game and neither does the combat in Veilguard. It’s trying too hard to be ME when Dragon Age shouldn’t be doing that. They’re completely two different games

@ClawsOfCrab @CorbynRed Wtf does "likeable" mean in this context? Thats such a subjective metric. I found Lae'zel, Minthara, and Halsin likeable

You can kill all of the companions or not recruit them at all.

@Nerdcognito Literally could not get into this game because every new character introduced and intended to join my party just revolted me and pissed me off. Played just enough time to not get a refund fml. Every character was just an Insufferable twat written by further insufferable twats.

Madam Savvy dares a rape victim to take their case to court erroneously assuming that the court is biased towards rape victims. In reality a vast majority of cases don't make it to court precisely because of how hard rape is to really prove.

@CorbynRed The veilguard dumbed down combat to basic type advantage. No strategy involved. Not to mention the severe lack of enemy types. Like your telling me they couldn’t let us fight the fire breathing quinari and instead have to deal with an ice dragon, who’s weak to fire, in a volcano

@CorbynRed @Some_Pixy @TheMothershipYT So because ME does it people should be okay that they changed something that was a key feature in many previous instalments of said series? Are you going to say that it’d be fine for future DA games to cut other races and leave you to play as a human because ME does it?

@CorbynRed DAv combat? What? Your party members are reduced to cooldown buckets. Those cooldowns are shockingly long. All encounters designs are the same, all the dragons are the same. You can only access a small number of powers. It is easily the worst combat in the series.

@CorbynRed There's even a quest for you to -specifically kill one of them- within the early stages of the game.
