@CoreyB_MD Doctors who care & see us as people can feel so rare (I'm chronically ill & disabled) and I get the burn out because I've seen the system dehumanize & abuse practitioners all the time. Thanks for being yourself, I'm sure it means the *world* to your patients

Called to discuss lab results with a patient. Asked her if she had any questions she says “Yes. How can I make you my primary doctor? You’re dope and I enjoyed my first visit with you.” 😭😭😭😭. Y’all. Because when I say I’m whatever is passed burnt out but I try my best daily
