Cryptocurrency that are full coins, behave the same way as Bitcoin, in that your privateKey grants you ownership over your wallet and the contents of it. Nuance is important

I get it. Practicality kicks in. Yet one option gives the financial-industrial complex more power over Bitcoin’s short-term price. The other takes that power away. I dedicate my time to taking power away from the FIC and helping people become more sovereign. That’s my role in this reality. I’m not judging. I’m educating. People can choose for themselves from there.

Simon, no one that invests in bitcoin treasuries thinks its equivalent or better than bitcoin in self custody. Minus maybe @StrategyMaxi. We are saving in bitcoin and investing is treasuries. I want to keep my Bitcoin safe but I live in a fiat world so I invest in companies that can buy bitcoin with better capital access than I do as an individual. My thesis is they can accumulate bitcoin faster than I can. I buy a share and they fill that share with more and more satoshis and I don’t have to do a thing. At no point do I conflate the two. One is a digital commodity money and the other is an equity.

"Free market" is an illusion and meant to exploit countries local markets when it suits the US. If we believed in the "free market" we would have Chinese cars that are better than US cars
