We are heartbroken to announce that on February 11th, 2023, Corey passed away peacefully alongside his family. Corey was battling ALS since 2015. Corey fought long and hard as his faith and love guided him through his journey.

@sandrawmarlowe @alsadvocacy If FDA fails us every time and refuses to change, then we must get the people who gave the FDA power, to create laws that fix the problem. Costs less than #ACT4ALS. Also won't waste our time every 6 months to fund it.

@alsadvocacy Totally agree. It seems we've made the behemoth fatter and slower. How do we implement a more effective strategy?

My new principle of ALS advocacy - Never push for a law if you can accomplish something without a new law. And I think we can do more w/o legislation than we ever imagined.

Some days just feel more like Groundhog Day than others.
