Opened my first futures account in July 2025. Started with a firm with real-time drawdown… terrible experience! And it took me a while to find my way to @Topstep, but I instantly became a fan of Project X, which led me to trade there more consistently. Still kind of surreal to me that the last 30 days or so came out to $23,000 across funded accounts. Still have a lot to learn and a lot of maturing to do as a trader, but every mistake along the way has taught me something valuable ✨

$NQ rejected Monthly Pivot R4 on Thursday. In Q2 2024, $SPY did the exact same thing:
reject Monthly R4 → rotate all the way to Monthly S3 → then continue ripping to new ATHs into December. This isn't me being bearish. I’m saying even the strongest bull markets can experience healthy rotations before continuation. If we see this scenario develop again, Monthly S3 currently sits near 26,500 on NQ. Last trade of the night 🦉 6k session. Slowly becoming an Asia session trader against my will because of work restrictions. But the cleaner movement and reactions are growing on me. Who else here makes most of their money during Asia?

Why I Love Shorting After a Bull Flag 🔴 Bull flags look super bullish: Strong move up → tight consolidation → “breakout!” Everyone piles in long and stacks stops right below the flag lows. That’s a liquidity pool. When momentum fades, price often sweeps the entire structure. Markets aren’t evil, they just hunt liquidity and rebalance inefficient moves. Exactly what NQ showed today. I had my plan ready right after yesterday’s close.
