Man, it's still surreal. 50 copies of something I was terrified to write sitting right in front of me. As I've shared many time, I didn't want to write this book. I fought it. I made every excuse why I couldn't do it, why I needed someone else to do the work for me. I'm thinking about Jon Gordon double-dog daring me to write it. I'm thinking about all the people who encouraged me over the years to share these lessons. I'm thinking about the guys in the clubhouse, the conversations in Pittsburgh and Colorado, the hard stuff I learned the hard way. I'm grateful. Humbled, really. Because this isn't about me being some expert. It's about sharing experience, strength, and hope. If even one person picks this up and finds something that helps them navigate their own storms, then it was worth pushing through the fear.
