The cultural climate of the day is distinctive and many are asking for ways to help minorities. One way we can deal with the issues that face the oppressed is by voting. Here we fight for policy and structures that affect the “least of these”. Link in our Bio. #KnowYourVote

Local elections are important. Our voting shows that we are submitted to the Kingdom of God in that we seek the flourishing of all people. We should be thinking about the common Good. Which is God’s intent in creation and redemption. See the link in our Bio. #KnowYourVote

The Gospel doesn’t just inform our private lives but how we operate in the public arena as well. Our aim as a church is for you to do this with as much foreknowledge as possible, so that you can make an informed decision about who our leaders are. Link in Bio. #KnowYourVote

Willingness doesn't make you READY for action! Willingness (alone) makes you DANGEROUS! For everyone that's more than willing to help, you actually have to be MORE than Willing. You've got to be wise. This week, let's talk about WISDOM. New Podcast. New Normal. Link in Bio.

Doubt is not a dead end. The badness of the world often makes us doubt the goodness of God. In our cultural moment, it’s good for us to be reminded that doubts don’t merit condemnation but should lead us to a conversation with God & others. New Podcast. New Normal. Link in Bio.

Knowing the right thing to do or say is also about knowing when to do or say it. God’s words and his actions are never late, or early but always right on time. God doesn’t just know how he knows when. @JawnO New Podcast. New Normal. New Episode. Link in Bio.

There is value in hearing the same biblical truths again and again. Why? Because truth that is repeated over and over goes from being clear to becoming real. Truth’s persistence breaks through to our hearts the more we hear it stutter. New Podcast. New Normal. Link in bio.

One of the great distinguishers between Christianity and all other faiths is the fact that we are made right with God based on what he has done not what we do. Obedience is an overflow of gratitude for Gods kindness to us. The same was just as true for OT saints as well as us!

The Exodus story says that God gives his people the law AFTER saving them. His kindness comes first, not their law keeping. Same is true for us. God’s kindness saves us, and we obey because we are saved not in order to be. New Podcast. New Normal. New Episode. Link in Bio.

Worship is a response to revelation not observation. God never changes. Our circumstances always do. Our souls should always be aligned with what HE says, not what we see. New Normal. New Podcast. New Episode. Link in Bio. WORSHIP: REVELATION NOT OBSERVATION

Our longings say a lot about us. Christians are often homesick at home because we long for the New Jerusalem. Although plagued by problems now they find themselves in great company; like all of Gods people they have to wait on Gods promise. New Normal. New Episode. Link in Bio.
