Ayanda Thabethe recently married Peter Matsimbe in 2025. Peter Matsimbe currently has a fraud case involving 9 new luxury vehicles, and 1 new truck. All vehicles are to the value of R13 million. Matsimbe used fake bank statements, fake company financial statements, and a fake South African ID to secure finance for all the vehicles. The bank found out, opened a criminal case, and got a court order for Matsimbe to return all 10 vehicles. However, only 2 vehicles were recovered, and 8 are still missing to this day. Investigators suspect that his businesses were not legitimate, had no direct source of income, and now he is living off the 8 vehicles that he might have sold or leased the vehicles in order maintain his lifestyle. His matter is still dragging in court. However the day his assets and accounts are frozen, the assets and accounts of Ayanda will also be frozen since they are married in Community of Property
