With 'Cornucopia Radio' soon coming to an end after 17 years. I think I'm allowed to indulge in a little nostalgia about all my time making audio & podcasts productions here in #Sheffield It's been a crazy ride. What are you own memories of us? - Peter Beeston

@Johnloves40k Thanks John. The website will just exist as an archive for all the past productions from now on. Myself? I'm taking a creative break for a while, but I plan on making some new pieces next year for a few different art festivals. - Peter B

@robinrvw Don't worry Robin, I've done an awful lot with it over the past two decades, with 100's of other people involved. Nothing lasts forever though. Hope you're doing well at the moment as well.

Our #internetradio station closes down for good this weekend, and I want to thank all the #spokenword #poetry #comedy #soundart and #audiofiction creators that have allowed me to rebroadcast all their amazing productions over the last 17 years: cornucopia-radio.co.uk The website itself will remain online for years to come though (as an archive) and you'll still be able to play back all the self produced work we created ourselves. I still work as a commercial editor/producer/director (it’s just ‘Cornucopia Radio’ that’s ending; not myself, lol) So I’m still available if you contact me with paid work. Back in 2017 Tom at The Wireless Show passed a copy of a script I’d written to Peter Beeston at @CornucopiaRadio - 5 years later he’d single-handedly produced 22 episodes of @PodToPluto and a whole library of supporting material, sending my comedy writing life into overdrive 1/2

The final @CornucopiaRadio production is a personal story about trying to rediscover your creativity & motivation (which I've struggled with myself these last few years) Sometimes you just need to hear somebody tell you that what you make is important. cornucopia-radio.co.uk/gilded-imagina… I hope that if you're also feeling these same emotions; then you might get sometimes out of listening to this final production yourself.
