Piers Morgan, "If we discovered last week that Keir Starmer has taken £5,000,000 without declaring it from a crypto billionaire in Thailand, Reform UK would have gone absolutely berserk" @piersmorgan 👏 Robert Jenrick, "We're talking about a gift even before Nigel Farage was a member of parliament" Fiona Bruce, "But you know you have to declare it in the 12 months before you become an MP"

Suella Braverman’s parents emigrated (those horrible economic migrants not from a war zone she hates). She went to Cambridge for free and didn’t collect £27k debt like everyone else. Scrounger. She used the Erasmus scheme to study in France. Which she has blocked. Horrible.

What kind of person endures 14 yrs of Tory incompetence & corruption, votes to oust them, & is then hoodwinked by a master grifter to vote the very worst of them back in again for more of the same. It’d be lunacy on a grand scale. Turquoise Tories. Careful what you wish for.

Sturridge is right. Only City, Liverpool, Chelsea have ever retained a premier league. Probably the hardest thing to do.

Manchester United made a strong pitch to Antoine Semenyo but remained disciplined in their approach. Competitive offer made, but club aware there was heavy competition, including from Manchester City and a late Chelsea call. Understand there were no plans to utilise Semenyo as a predominant wingback despite suggestions Ruben Amorim would build a new system around him. Manchester United viewed Semenyo as a winger/attacker first and foremost. Amorim's system was not a factor in Semenyo's decision-making process. All clubs who made a salary offer did so in a similar financial ballpark, but #MUFC not prepared to break their wage structure to go higher than rivals. Semenyo decision based on project appeal not money. Liverpool, meanwhile, had decided against progressing with Semenyo after November talks. In the end, Alexander Isak's broken leg didn't prompt them to make a new formal approach in December.🇬🇭

@Malachians Im an Amorim in but if he did go id happily give the job to Casemiro. the only player capable of thriving in the unique pressure cooker of our shirt. Proper leader. Not his fault his legs are going. And he's still been able to fight back from the "know when to walk away"

It’s highly probable that Casemiro will not be at Utd next season yet he plays like someone who has a vested interest in what happens at Utd next season. That is not always something you could say about other far less decorated players who wanted to leave at the end of the season. For a 5 time Champions League winner, he’s never behaved like Utd’s plight is beneath him, he’s conducted himself with class off the field and he’s a player I wish we’d have signed 5 years before we did.

Twice now I have been in Costa Coffee King Cross, & a homeless person came in & literally scooped all the sandwiches & nicked them in front of everyone Both times I asked the server what they were going to do about it & they said “We are told to do no nothing” If we all do nothing, we will lose our capital city, no?

A Benefit Scandal. A family with three children living in Tower Hamlets can be eligible to claim over £82k a year in benefits! Almost double the gross household income in the UK! Both parents out of work and not looking for work, both claiming to be carers, both receiving PIP for back injuries, both non-UK nationals that haven't worked and paid NI for more than 6 months in the last 2 years, one child diagnosed with ADHD. They are eligible to claim UC, PIP, Carer’s Allowance, Child Benefit, Council Tax Support and more… This isn’t a one off hypothetical example. Countless families are out of work not looking for employment while hardworking taxpayers foot their bills and lifestyles. Do you think this is fair, do you make more than £80k a year? Having a child is a huge decision, if you can’t afford to raise that child and expect taxpayers to subsidise you, then maybe having a child isn’t for you.

When rick folk leave they take with them £££ they spent in shops & restaurants & on their homes, services & staff. Jobs are lost & what tax they did pay, which is never as little as the Gov pretends is also gone. Tory & Labour policies designed to win votes have done real damage.

@robprogressive Socialism is when you take £10,000 from one productive person & give £1,000 to 10 productive people who equally create the wealth and then the one productive person throws a tantrum and threatens to leave

Socialism is when you take £10,000 from one productive person who works & give £1,000 to 10 people who do not work, and then blame the one productive person for all the country’s problems so the 10 people will vote for you Then the productive people leave & the system implodes on itself
