@RedbirdFarmhand I saw that as well. They showed a break down of him getting eaten up by that pitch and it didn’t take him long to adjust to it. I believe this kid is the Cards catcher of the future if he doesn’t get moved to another position. If he is the catcher we need to make some room

This shows how incredibly adjustable Rainiel is. This was an inside pitch he was getting eaten up on two weeks ago. His ability to adjust in real time is super impressive

@xxretiredguyxx I think you are right. Let those players come from the minors. Don’t go from the path we are on. Just add a little from the minors and trade what we can to get some value back. The playoffs would be a bonus for this young and exciting team

@CorryelliottM I'm saying with a few tweeks they could be a playoff team but we need different bench players to get a shot and those should come from Memphis

The Cardinals bench and some (Svanson especially) relief core needs fixed honestly this team is not far from being a playoff caliber team but definitely some holes, if rebuilding give some other young guys opportunity to see what they can do for a bit just my 2 cents #stlcards

@SleeperSTL The kid is playing 3rd base. Why not see what he can do. It’s a rebuild not a let’s hope to see if Gorman can finally make it. I hate to say it but Gorman is done and I have always been in this kids corner.

If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”.
