What a treat for my students to enjoy a virtual Veterans’ Day visit from my parents so my dad could talk about his military service!

In Science class today, we learned about waves using ropes! Such a fun way to understand a tough topic!

Today we learned how to fit a 4th grader through an index card in science class! The students had to use many problem-solving and teamwork skills to reach their goal!

That’s a wrap on the 2023-2024 school year! So proud of these kids!!

We had a wonderful day visiting the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL!

It’s so rewarding watching young people grow into their potential! Today, one of my former students came and implemented a math lesson and game he designed for my math ESS class, all of his own initiative and on his own time!

Having fun in math this week learning about weight in the metric system with a 1 kilogram ball!

I’d better watch out—this next generation is coming for my job! 😆 I love when my former students come for a visit, even if dressed as my twin 😳😆📚✏️📓🏫

It was so exciting witnessing my students’ sense of wonder during the solar eclipse today!

The weather outside may be frightful, but these two students are so delightful! During indoor recess, they proactively asked to review flash cards instead of playing games, setting a great example of “beginning with the end in mind”! So proud of these great 4th grade leaders.
