5 yrs ago today I had a moderate stroke from a vertebral artery tear caused by a chiropractic neck adjustment. After 6 days in hospital, I couldn’t drive for a month and needed a walker and cane. I’m grateful each day for my recovery. Don’t let anyone touch your neck friends. ❤️

When people say healthcare is crumbling, it’s not dramatics. It’s not an exaggeration. Healthcare workers at all levels in facilities across the province are seeking opportunities to work outside of public health. I speak with them regularly. It’s an emergency.

@kristinaennis And if people only knew about the administrative nightmares and inefficiencies in health, they would be appalled! Just because you put a new technology in front of people, doesn't mean that they will receive a higher quality service.

@kristinaennis The fix for the surgical backlog issue according to the NLMA is to open up more surgical times in the operating rooms. Those same nurses who attend surgeries are also exhausted. To add more surgical times means to add more nurses!

@kristinaennis The surgical backlog was reaching unacceptable levels before COVID-19 arrived. The wait time for cataract surgery was 2+ years....the Minister was saying 1 year in the media. Don't believe what they say!
