Wow, this is the first time we have received $mcd @cosmcs news since our internal meeting in Spain which was April of last year. Interesting note: @McDonalds is closing 3 of the larger format CosMc’s. They are still opening the last 2 under their original goal of building 10 units. Started the WorldWide @McDonalds Convention in Barcelona Spain w a phenomenal session on @cosmcs, which opened up their 4th location today 🎉 First crazy stat, took 9 months for comics to go from paper to a building. Wow 👀 It is $MCD first ever separate brand built from in-house. Upon opening, peak hour wait was 6.5 hours. Customers knew nothing abt cosmc but the strength in brand of McD’s brought ppl in. Ponder that. McD really felt like they needed to test outside McD’s due to operational constraints and didn’t want to distract from our core business. McD really wants cosmc to extend the McD brand, not to source or trade customers from it. Units are 40% smaller, really helps to free up traditional restraints. Explorer is what they call staff Captains are shift managers 110 days in - excited to see the innovation & hopefully (this is my desire) replace our current McCafe menu with a CosMc menu.
