Brandon has confirmed that he may "downplay" a few of the background Allomantic powers in the #Mistborn movie in favor of the main ones. He says he does not want to overwhelm viewers and that, while not all the powers may be named, they will certainly be shown and remain canon.

Brandon has confirmed the #Mistborn Film Trilogy will be a slightly new continuity than the books, but that his goal is that everything in the books still “happened” in some way, just off-screen at times. Film is a whole new medium, so this makes sense!
