Trump downgrading medical marijuana is a massive mistake. THC—the psychoactive component—is the issue. It’s what gets users high, and it’s what most people are actually seeking when they push for “expanded access.” If the goal is legitimate medical treatment, there’s no reason to broaden access to high-THC content products. That’s not medicine, that’s policy drift toward recreation and a big safety risk for society. And in Florida especially, this matters. If Byron Donalds becomes governor, expect a full push toward recreational legalization. He’s a former weed dealer, didn’t oppose Amendment 3, and has a shady relationship with Trulieve. Florida doesn’t need to go down that road. Keep it family-friendly, keep it free—and don’t pretend THC expansion is about medicine.

Mouth breathers talk about cars and watches. The real flex is realizing nature already has it figured out and we just need to work with it and stop trying to control it. We can do better 🌎 by doing less. Quit playing God.

@SholdonDaniels It’s not the presidents leadership its citizens and activists who have busted our asses since 1937 to fight for access to the plant. He’s the first to respond to the movement, also a great tool to give approval ratings a boost. Either way a tiny step in the right direction.

Reclassifying Marijuana does NOTHING to lower the cost of health insurance premiums. UNAFFORDABLE health insurance is the major issue plaguing the majority of Americans. Trump’s answer give them marijuana. It’s honestly pitiful that the Republican Party flat out refuses to tackle one of the biggest problems and ridiculously expensive cost for hard working Americans. Because of this massive Republican failure, it is paving the way for huge support for Healthcare for All, government funded (actually taxpayer funded) and government controlled healthcare. Americans will overwhelmingly support it because health insurance has become sooooooo unaffordable as the result of Obamacare and Republicans refuse to fix it, leaving struggling Americans no other choice. Do you enjoy government services? Now imagine they are in charge of allowing you which doctor or medical care you are allowed to receive. And the question remains, with nearly $40 trillion dollars in federal debt and interest alone skyrocketing over $1 trillion dollars per year as part of the annual budget, HOW WOULD OUR GOVERNMENT EVEN PAY FOR HEALTHCARE FOR AMERICA??? 🤯 Not to mention, Social Security is going to be insolvent in 6-7 years!!! We are soon entering the bankruptcy phase of our nation and Democrat’s answer will be throw more taxpayer money that we don’t have to solve the problems and Trump’s answer is give them marijuana, they will all be too high to notice they’re broke. Marijuana today is much more potent than just ten or twenty years ago, leading to increased psychosis, anti-social behavior, and fatal car crashes. Arkansans don’t want more dangerous drugs obtained more easily. A change to marijuana’s drug classification is a step in the wrong direction.

I personally don’t like marijuana… I hate what it does to you, and I’ve seen what it did to some of my family members.. I believe it has harmful effects on the brain stimuli. That’s just what I’ve seen most of my life. But the same (far worse) can be said about alcohol. However, I 100% believe there are really great medicinal reasons for marijuana… and only for that reason I’m for it and think it’s the right thing to do. But It’s definitely something I’m teaching my kids never to do.
