@SyrumSuperstar Excluding Mario 64 bonus set, those Mini games were the worst thing I've had to do for retro achivements and it was not even close Literally had to give up using a mouse at one point and switched to using a phone touch screen to get the Magikoopa one done

I forgot this list doesn't extend to the fishing encounters, since I plan on giving the old rod early. Just know you can add Cheep Cheep, Urchin, and Jelly Beam to the green list, my bad

Quickly wanna show off what I mean. Here is everyone that is planned to be obtainable before the first gym (at a level cap of 13) the ones marked in green get a super effective move against rock types Yellow can at least do status support And Red has really got nothing to help

So Milde is like bubble gum in the mysterious book, which gives me a reason to give it bubble as a decently early move Seriously the amount of mons you get before the first gym that can hit rock for super effective damage is like so high

and of course this doesn't mean all of the ones in green just win against brock (*Cough cough* Biddybud and Lakitu *cough*). But just having them have something feels right Although I do apolgies to the blind player who picks up Podoboo, and Klamber only for the first gym lmao

Brock in Kanto, mainly those who take the fire starter, can be a massive kind of unfun roadblock in rom hacks if the one you want to use has nothing against them So I wanted to make sure almost any player who goes into the game blind has a fair shot at beating them

@tekno_thom Correct to you as well! The reason why I made them a different colour and not just the shy guy red is I didn’t want it to seem like Sniffit was the standard evolution for shy guy As for why the Yoshi island colour exactly, really no reason other then I wanted more pink mons

@ThePipePlaza With how much more aggressive the Flytrap looks in Luigi mansion 3 it could be suspected that Dr.Potter was trying to make much more aggressive and deadly flytraps. With the ones in Luigi mansion 2 being left behind once Potter either moved or became a ghost

@RipBlue_hime The dex is actually a size of 200, only reason I’m not doing more is for my own sake; spiriting, learnsets, and balancing over 200 mon take a long time so I had to set a limit for myself

it’s interesting to me how a Mario Pokémon dex likely change based on the makers childhood Mario games, like if they played 64 as a child it’s no surprise that game would be represented a lot.. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - So ye, Galaxy has just a few reps in my take lmao
