Streamers, especially VTubers, need to be less terrified of supporting vocal, leftist VTubers. The fact that standing up for human rights makes you more controversial than right wing grifters and results in you losing public connections has ruined the VTubing industry.

The fact that there are people saying “just connect to the internet bro, it’s no big deal” is fucking horse shit. Not everyone can afford internet. Some people can’t always connect. Sometimes bills are tight and sacrifices have to be made. And you could ask “well why do they have a PS5 if they can’t afford internet?” That isn’t the issue. The issue is that you shouldn’t have to connect to the internet to play a game. Xbox tried this bullshit a decade ago and Sony shit on them for it and now they’re doing the same thing and everyone bending over, spreading their cheeks and saying “yes daddy Sony, fuck me”. You should be able to play your games that you bought with your fucking money without needing to connect to shit. I put a 3DS cart on my 3DS and it fucking works. I put a Disc in my PS2 and it works. Why the fuck do I need Internet to play a game that I own? It’s fucking stupid and more people should be vocal about it instead of saying “just connect to the internet bro, just use your hot spot” like fuck off bro. It’s people like you who accept this shit that companies like Sony continue seeing and acknowledging just to keep pushing this fuckery on the rest of us.

Since apparently this has to be said, my stance on censorship has not changed. No, liking loli does not make you a pedophile. No, that and other taboo fictional content should not be censored. No, you should not be harassed over fictional content even if its “weird” or “degenerate”. Yes, you should be allowed to make your own choices with the fictional content you consume. I have been very open about coming back to Christ about a year ago and I don’t want to be engaging in these subjects, specifically in covering the more explicit aspects of it, in the same manner as I used to. This is what I am comfortable with. I hope people can respect that boundary. However, it does not mean my stances have changed in a general sense. People have the right to choose what fictional content they consume personally and shouldn’t be harassed for it or certain artwork subject to censorship because of its nature. I have said nothing to the contrary. Things could have been worded more clearly from Strawb, this entire conversation seemed to stress her out a lot and she admitted to not handling it the best way, but comparing me or her to “antis” without even waiting for an explanation is jumping the gun. We have been defending people censored and harassed over these topics for years at the cost of harassment, threats, and slander directed towards us but we still don’t regret doing it. My core audience knows how I feel about all of this but I hope this clarifies some things. Thanks.
