@GeminiiVT i only did a "push" for the last two weeks before i could apply. whatever you decide to do, just please look after yourself. i was not prepared for how mentally draining it would be. when i got the email i was so overwhelmed and anxious and didnt know how to tell people haha

For anyone who has partner pushed, or is currently partner pushing, what made you decide it was the right time to start? I've been streaming consistently on Twitch for a little over two years now, and I'm averaging around 50 to 60 viewers per stream. Becoming Partner has always been a huge dream of mine but I've been scared to start pushing because I want it to feel truly deserved, like all the hard work I've put in has paid off. The reason I'm asking is because a lot of bigger creators I'm friends with have told me multiple times that I should just go for it. They have all said not to stress if my average drops after the push because that's completely normal. I've also been told that becoming Partner can open the door to more opportunities, and that is honestly the part I'm most excited about. I'm already incredibly consistent with streaming, so I'm less focused on the badge itself and more on what it could allow me to do moving forward. So I guess I'm wondering, how did you know it was the right time? Is there a point where you felt "ready," or should I be aiming for a higher average before I start?

@zachbussey notice this yesterday someone was on the front page with <150 followers & 8 viewers, and max quality was 360p! I thought the front page was strictly for partners? I’m in Australia & it’s honestly the strangest thing I’ve seen haha.

Hot take: Mental Health "Advocates" who never confirm or deny their proximity to lived experience of psychiatric illness, whilst spouting positive shite and perpetuating existing stigma aren't actually Advocates; they're fucking wellness influencers. Advocacy is for fighters. 🙏
