Skydiving changed everything for Harriet. 🪂 After jumping 10,000 feet through the air and raising £500 for sick babies like Leon, it instantly became one of the highlights of her life.

Harriet’s little boy, Leon, spent the first month of his life in St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Leon completely recovered, but it was hard for Harriet to readjust to a normal life until she’d found a way to give back to NICU. 🏥🩷

This morning, the ceremonial spade will turn the first soil at the building site with some help from the folks at @jinglejam and Helen Godwin, Mayor of the West of England. Meanwhile patients have already been celebrating from the comfort of the hospital.

Today we will officially breakground on The Grand Appeal’s Patient Hotel! 🪏 It’s set to be a landmark day at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children as this pioneering project finally becomes a reality. 🏨

If it wasn't for Cots for Tots House, Betty would have struggled to see her baby boy during his 51-day stay in intensive care. It’s thanks to Cots for Tots supporters like you that we could keep George’s family together during such a difficult time. 🫂

Today is George’s first birthday! 🥳 This little fighter was born in St Michael’s NICU last February with a serious condition called gastroschisis. While the NICU staff worked hard to save George’s life, his mum, Betty, stayed just across the road in Cots for Tots House. 🏡🩷
