3BH have been looking at the special relationships they have with their families and friends. We have discussed conflicts that can arise and how these can be resolved.
Penguins have been telling each other about their families for PSHE. They have shared special stories about the people they love. They chose someone in their family to paint using our homemade puffy paint.
In Art, Y2 have completed their final pieces based on The Great Fire of London. We studied the techniques Henri Matisse used in his artwork - cutouts - and chose which would be suitable for us to use. Great job, Y2!
5S enjoyed their visit to Safeside. They explored the village,identified hazards but also knew how to stay safe by canals, in trains, in dark alleyways & also inside their own home. Children were excellent & engaged when practicing essential life skills fire safety & dialling 999
This morning Cotteridge paid their respects to all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, during conflicts around the world. Our Head Pupils and Mr Willetts laid wreaths of remembrance after the Last Post and 2 minute silence.
4A had lots of fun lighting up the classroom with torches on Friday to investigate current designs for their D&T project. They can't wait to make their own in a few weeks time!
