Today, May 1st, is May Day—a day to recognize that no billionaire works harder than the working-class individuals who are struggling to pay their rent or mortgage. On this May Day, the Northumberland Labour Council stands in solidarity with workers across Canada.

I was honored to attend and speak at the @and_labour Day of Mourning Ceremony. I addressed the critical issue of mental health in the workplace.

On Tuesday, April 28th, we will gather to mark the National Day of Mourning, a day to honour workers who have been killed, injured, or made ill on the job. Join the @CouncilLabour as we come together to remember those we have lost and recommit to protecting the living.

Welcoming students from Trinity College School from my home community alongside Premier @fordnation was a reminder of the energy, curiosity, and ambition the next generation carries, and an opportunity to hear their perspectives on how our government can continue to support them for generations to come.
