WFMS had so much fun on the 8th grade history field trip today!

Today in small group we explored identifying emotions. Group members brainstormed about how they experienced two opposing emotions, then created visual representation of those emotions with watercolors🎨💜 #middlesschoolcounseling

Today was the start of DBT Skills groups for 7th grade. After doing an overview of the next seven weeks, small groups competed in an escape room challenge!💛🖤 #schoolcounseling #sel

This week we reflected on our strengths in my 6th grade girls small groups and explored how self-esteem impacts our friendships. Small group counseling is one of the very best parts of my job!!💛🖤

The clap-out by @BRESblazers for @samerenap on her last day as acting principal was a beautiful sight to see. Susan is the true definition of a servant leader and I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to work with and for her. @FCPSMaryland

Today we discussed choices and consequences in small group. They concluded that consequences don’t have to be negative- we make good choices and then can achieve good results!
