@timeextension64 Did you verify each one of these games in your office was made by someone who you politically agree with first before purchasing them? That's what people seeking gaming news really want to know.
@ARealTomG@Adamantibus@evercaderetro Those are also UK versions with PEGI logo on them which don't hold their value as well if you want to resell them.
Evercade is one of the most accessible ways to play officially licensed NEOGEO arcade games. But did you know that with a simple option in our firmware, you can play the AES versions too?
Here are the top 5 most expensive NEOGEO AES games you can play on Evercade right now for only $5 per game via Evercade's physical cartridges!

@Rumbles82@evercaderetro@Assassin_punk Legacy carts by definition won't get re-released. You have to get them from scalpers on eBay for 75 to 200 dollars depending on title.
@evercaderetro@Assassin_punk Some of the legacy carts need desperate re release. I want to buy into your ecosystem but it feels way too late to jump in and product is constantly out of stock.
@timeextension64 Why not just take out the one little screw on the back of the cartridge and look inside? Completely pointless device and waste of cash.
@Hyperkin@currentlysneeds@modretro You didn't fix any issues before launch. Every major review of it was panned. Laggy performance, input lag, glitching, 4 player controller support issues, etc. There is a reason it's currently on sale for almost half price because nobody wants it. Hyperkin = bad products.
@CountCristoforo@currentlysneeds@modretro Fair to call that out.
We had issues early on and made the decision to fix them before launch. We worked closely with people in the retro community to refine it and raise the standard.
That process has shaped how we approach everything we’re building now.
That’s exactly the kind of experience we’re working toward.
We know expectations for something like an N64 controller are high and it’s tied to a lot of people’s favorite gaming memories. Our focus has been on building products that let you reconnect with those experiences without the friction, while bringing them up to modern standards.
We’ve made a lot of changes over the past few years to raise that bar, and we’re excited for people to get their hands on what’s coming.
@modretro Nobody wants a low quality hyperkin controller. Where is the controller you were showing off earlier? People want a wireless N64 controller with 1:1 feel of the original thumbstick only.
@openbioforge You should take a look at the control scheme for Resident Evil 1 HD Remaster (2015). It featured classic tank controls with the D-Pad, but also a completely redone style for analog controls.
Experimenting with native analog gamepad support in #OpenBioForge! 🎮 Let me know your button layout ideas in the comments (keep in mind fixed cameras, and over a dozen attack types).
Excuse the amateur phone recording 😅
#BioForge#GameDev
@openbioforge One button to access inventory (triangle). One button to access menu (start). Right shoulder to toggle combat and then have face buttons and d-pads for different attack types. Select might be good to toggle combat if you wanna keep that feature.
@openbioforge Maybe update to have one button that is always run (square on psx). One button that is overall interact (X) and do away with the having different buttons to pick up objects and put them away. One button which is an overall cancel type command like escape, exit inventory, etc (O).
