It's been over 20 years since the Armstrong scandal. The world has moved on, but the excuses haven't. These days, an athlete is tested out of competition and on every paycheck. Security is tighter than a bank vault, they are basically being monitored 24/7. Still, the main point is logic. It is statistically impossible to run a system of 500 Lance Armstrongs year in, year out, without the whole thing collapsing. You can’t scale a conspiracy that large across an entire generation.

My husby and I went out to dinner last night, and the bill came out to $200. I left a $50 tip on the table, thinking that was pretty reasonable. But the waiter looked at it and flat-out refused to take it. ​He told us that if we weren’t willing to leave at least $85, we shouldn’t be eating out in the first place. ​I was honestly caught off guard. I felt embarrassed sitting there, like we’d done something wrong. We weren’t trying to be cheap or disrespectful — I genuinely thought $50 was a fair tip for that bill.
