@CountryGirlAt12 I cant prune and not save. Its not in my blood. Its a free plant!

@CountryGirlAt12 I know. Its been 3 weeks and I already have a baby resting in dirt. 3 shoots on one plant already. Oh well. The neighbors will be happy.

@CountryGirlAt12 Already all flowering like crazy. I planted 102 thinking i woukd get a decent amount. I am now being told I am in for it lol.

@iceberge80 Perfect, you’ll do great! Get them covered before the birds get them. (After they flower and start to produce fruit)

@CountryGirlAt12 I have absolutely no clue about strawberries but it appears seascape it the one I have the most of.

@CrubersGate I was wondering how the day would unfold…

😑 Pop Pop says all the work yesterday “must have been too much” he said (this morning) he felt a “pulling in the incision” when he took a wet sock off his foot…
Now the incision is puffy and hurts. I saw he had to ride in the truck with his pants unbuttoned…
Now the truth is coming out. I told him his guts might come out too if them stitches have pop loose - but thats between him, and his Jesus. Im over it.
After three weeks of perfect healing; he likely undid all of that good yesterday…
It ain’t even been a month yet and the restrictions was 5lbs for three weeks then ease up but no he toted 2-3 50lb feed sacks to give wild ass turkeys day before yesterday.
Then yesterday he rode a 65,000lb wheel loader up and down, up and down, up and down on thar 90’ ramp for 7 hours; then asshat mowed about 15 hillside acres for another 3 hours when he come home.
So I can only imagine he has exceeded his ROM limit and has likely popped a internal dissolvable stitch (or two) today by just straining to pull off a damn WET SOCK.
This is my life.

@MAGAWoodworker The most simple landscapes are often the most stunning.

@CountryGirlAt12 I've had a catio made it's lovely. My cats love it and they are safe, more so from cars as opppsed to prey. They aren't out terrorising /killing wildlife or shitting in neighbours gardens. I would have had cat safe fencing but I can't.
English

@susipjensen I’ve had that conversation in length. We have coyotes, bald eagles, hawks and owls. I told him zero cats survive in our area outside. These are juvenile littermates. The family is allergic so they can only stay in the garage and outside.
English

@CountryGirlAt12 to discuss this is not only helpful to you, but also to them. Nearly all outdoor cats in our neighborhood are gone/preyed upon by birds and coyotes. Everyone who has cats (that survive) keep them indoors. There is an exception with barn cats. They seem to know how to survive.

@LADYFROGPOND @Richadetta The acreage is deeper than it is wide.

@MidwestMorals They know we are organic farmers here.

@CountryGirlAt12 I’d set up anti cat stuff around the beds & them pay for it.
Start up a convo NOW/TODAY & say they are ruining your garden & you’ve got pretty bad chemicals that can & will hurt your cats. See what they do!
You then say well we could compromise if you’re willing to buy:

@CountryGirlAt12 My next door neighbour has 3 cats the ultra sound scarers on amazon work, my vegetable beds are now uncovered no soiling

@Justme20906998 Thank you, my husband is busy ordering a few of the suggestions!
English

@CountryGirlAt12 Thats a lot of de fence…pun intended 🤣. Is there a spray repellant? A bb gun pumped just enough to teach a lesson will work too..
English

@Okiegirl4real We have way too many beds here for that.
English

@CountryGirlAt12 Use plastic forks upside down with the fork upright intot he garden. They poke themselves while trying to use it for a litterbox. Worked for me when my neighbor was a cat lady.

@Justme20906998 15’ thick dense laurel hedge tightly encompassing 6’ cattle panels.

@BellaCatPier @JS07100909 @Pattyca33355681 @CountryGirlAt12 You really are a bloody simpleton, if you think there is anything funny about cats killing wildlife.

@CountryGirlAt12 In a previous home I sprinkled coffee grounds in the flower bed. Lots of them. Cats hate getting the grounds on their paws. It worked for me and also kept bunnies away.
