MCS schools will be closed Friday, March 3rd due to inclement weather.

Based upon guidance provided by the National Weather Service all Morgan County School students will have remote instruction on Thursday, February 16th and Friday, February 17th. All school campuses and offices will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 16th. Please remain weather aware.

MCS schools will be delayed 2 hours on 2/1/23 due to inclement weather. Please remain weather aware.

Morgan County Schools dismissing 1 PM Dec 8 due to potentially hazardous travel conditions. Schools/bus two hours earlier than normal. Personnel dismissed 30 min later.

All Morgan County School students will have remote instruction for Thursday, January 6th, and Friday, January 7th.  All school campuses and offices will be closed. Employees are not required to report, teachers will utilize their remote instruction.

Morgan County Schools delayed two hours Tuesday, January 4th due to potentially hazardous travel conditions. Schools and buses delayed two hours later than normal.

All  Morgan  County  School students will transition to Remote Learning for Tuesday, August 31st due to potentially hazardous weather.  Students and staff will work remotely. All school campuses and offices will be closed.

During the week of May 12-19, Morgan County Schools reported one case of COVID-19 to the Alabama Department of Public Health. Positive numbers are posted on our web site and updated as cases are reported to our schools. We continue to practice preventative measures at school.

Priceville Junior High School has a new assistant principal! Donald Weeks takes over the spot, and will serve alongside Principal Ashley McCulloch. Mr. Weeks comes to PJHS after teaching math at Priceville High School. Congratulations, Mr. Weeks!

More WIFI help for students. The Emergency Broadband Benefit is a federal program that provides a discount of up to $50 a month off the internet bill for qualifying households. You can call 1-833-511-0311 for help, or visit GetEmergencyBroadband.org to apply.

It is School Lunch Hero Day, a chance to showcase the school nutrition professionals who serve every child who comes through the cafeteria. They have done it with love, care, a smile, even behind a mask. They have even met families curbside to help make sure students are fed.

Morgan County Schools dismissing Tuesday, May 4th. Schools will dismiss at 1 PM. School personnel are dismissed 30 min later. All After School activities are canceled.
