Retirees recognized at Upshur County Board of Education meeting.

Rock Cave Elementary School was the recipient of two garden grants this past year. The Action for Healthy Kids Game On Grant provided $1000 for implementing physical activity within the curriculum. A Whole Foods grant awarded $2000 toward garden implementation.

Mrs. Allen’s and Mrs. Powell’s second grade classes at Tennerton Elementary performed Stone Soup for guests this week. The students’ hard work paid off as the performances were fantastic.
