Maybe it was Bruce Lee. Maybe it was Jackie Chan or Tony Jaa. Everyone has that one fighter who unlocked an entire genre for them. That genre used to be difficult to share, but not anymore. Here are the 51 Greatest Fight Scenes...According To One Guy: bit.ly/51-Greatest-Fi…

@opearman Yep, Temple is before which is why he starts off as a Fortune and Glory treasure hunter and becomes more respectful of the artifacts/people. Doesn’t work perfectly as far as lining up with Raiders but the intention is clear.

@CoupNBA Wasn’t Temple of Doom a proto-prequel (ie set before Raiders)? I enjoyed Mandalorian and Grogu but my major criticism is the same as most: it doesn’t seem to progress his story at all

Saw a comparison of Mando/Grogu to Temple of Doom as a defensive example of a "Popular hero goes on standalone adventure" sort of movie, which conveniently forgets that Indiana Jones had an actual character arc in Temple (which is also superior in every other aspect).

@CoupNBA If you genuinely need there is no character arc in the Mandalorian & Grogu you really should go and rewatch it and pay attention this time.

@evaneleven77 All that would have been fine, really, if they had just bothered to write a real movie script. But they'll make their money and learn no lessons.

@CoupNBA it very much felt like disney wanted a star wars movie in the theaters (mando and grogu) before the REAL star wars movie comes to theaters (starfighter) they played it extremely safe, just wanted proof of concept. didn't want ppl to have to watch the show to get the movie

The script/story problem with The Mandalorian isn't that it doesn't have much bearing on the Star Wars universe, it's that none of its characters change or develop or really even say anything remotely interesting. It's more like a lesser Roger Moore Bond movie in that respect.

Meanwhile, the bottom three teams of the 29 that qualify are: 27. Heat (21-22) at -4.09% 28. Bucks (20-21) at -4.36% 29. Thunder (24-25) at -4.79% That's two champs and one team that lost in Game 7 of East Finals.

Over the last seven seasons (since The Bubble), the three teams that have exceeded their 3pt Shot Quality in the playoffs the most by eFG%: 1. Knicks (25-26) at +7.69% 2. Heat (22-23) at +5.23% 3. Pacers (24-25) at +4.93% (Min 500 3pt FGA)

@CoupNBA I didn't think it was completely bad, but I did think so many moments were truly painful. Insane it was over 2 hours long. Could have been a solid and fun 90 minute movie in there.

The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026): Too inconsequential to be big and too big to be inconsequential. Would say the action is kinda sorta decent, but it doesn’t hold up to a critical eye. There isn’t an interesting conversation in the whole thing. Ludwig Göransson carries.

All those present day guys will be in the Hall, so that leaves just Norm Van Lier (career ended at 31) and Alvin Robertson (career ended at 33) as the only resume comps who are not, or not expected to be, enshrined in Springfield. Add two Gold Medals, and Bam is getting in.

Bam Adebayo is up to 6 All-Defensive selections and three All-Star selections. The only players to meet that criteria who are *not* currently in the Hall of Fame: Rudy Gobert Draymond Green Chris Paul Norm Van Lier Kawhi Leonard LeBron James Alvin Robertson

OBSESSION (2026): Nothing brings people together like a 1030 showing of a hyped horror movie that actually (mostly) delivers. Best as a shared experience.

Was 30 seconds away from walking out the door for a late showing of Obsession when this run started. Walking out of the theater would have been real confusing.

@hottakeharry Don't know about must-win, but certainly a missed opportunity, especially if Fox returns and cleans up the turnovers for the Spurs a bit.

@CoupNBA Felt like a must-win for the Thunder simply because you’re not getting another offensive performance from Caruso like that again.

Probably worth noting that the Spurs just became the second team since 2000 to win a playoff game with 21+ turnovers while shooting worse than 31% and giving up 37% or better from 3pt. Last time it happened was 2004, Nets over Knicks, 81-78.
