@hottakeharry @JoeBeguiristain I don't really disagree, just think it's tough to compare across eras. We're also projecting that pairing with Bam will tick Giannis' defense up a bit, as he hasn't quite been at the same DPOY level last couple years though we can easily say that was a roster issue.

@hottakeharry @JoeBeguiristain Other team that springs to mind, especially when you get into frontcourt bench depth, is the 2019 Raptors. The '04 Pistons with Sheed/Ben/Tayshaun, too. Have to kind of play it within the context of each era.

Ryan Conwell feels like the kind of guy who is going to have 16 points off the bench in January when other guys are injured and Spo gives us the, "He made us notice him, he made us play him..." speech afterward.

@ChicoritoMarito @GregSylvander That's actually a question I have that I only brought up briefly, is how much Spo actually dials it up on defense. Could see him getting pretty aggressive, but maybe only in select spots as a curveball.

my favorite thing about the Giannis-Bam pairing is it gives the Heat an incredibly unique defensive look. No team will have two bigs who can switch and defend the rim at their level. I’m really excited to watch Miami on that end.
