fanfiction is first and foremost FANMADE. a machine can never spend hours obsessing over a fictional character, nor see itself in the character. therefore ai can never write fanfiction; i will call whatever it churns out Bullshit.

respectfully, I think some of you guys shouldn’t be participating in fandom at all, actually. if you don’t like when others are involved in creative projects that are different from the canonical text then it’s best to consume media like the general public.

AU stands for ALTERNATIVE UNIVERSE. If you see an au where a character is in a situation you think they’d never be in, it is because this is a specific alternate timeline where they are. That’s the whole point of aus and you guys are genuinely just being annoying now
