On Sunday, 25-year-old U.S. airman Aaron Bushnell set himself on fire in front of Washington, D.C.’s Israeli Embassy to protest the U.S.'s ongoing support of Israel in the Gaza War.
Bushnell continued to yell "Free Palestine" as he was engulfed in flames. He was taken to a hospital and succumbed to his injuries later the same day.
