@DanicaMillner @leaders_black Q3: I always preface any contentious meeting by saying my job is to do what’s best for kids and that’s what my decision will be based on. Staying neutral requires me to gather info from all parties, including the student

A3: Remove yourself from the emotional aspect of the conflict. Listen to both sides and make the focus the common goal. Focus: Making education accessible to all children.

@leaders_black @OrganicLeaderVB A2: something I’m also learning is to ask if they want my opinion or advice about the issue. My mentor is teaching me that those are two different things.
