I really wish Kick talks felt human. It obvious how much of the glazing is insincere & watching people avoid asking the meaningful questions in fear of retaliation is like watching prisoners swear they are being treated well while they are clearly on the brink of death. I believed (and still remain hopeful) that Kick would be where creators didn't have to cannibalize each other to succeed like on Twitch. It's now gotten to the point that it's WORSE than Twitch & in my opinion - it's completely to blame on the platform staff, moderation & leadership. Everyone got along and were providing "positivity" content right up until the achievement accolades were coupled with embellished compensation functions (KCIP/KPP). They weaponized & were arbitrary in granting peoples rights of passage that they themselves set as the standards to being a valuable creator. The achievements page is smoke and mirrors. It has become abundantly clear that those requirements only apply to a handful of people. This practice created MASSIVE divide & deteriorated the fabric of the Kick community that you'll never be able to force back into existence like they continuously try to do. Kick is a disaster & has no future in its current state. It's a dumpster fire that no amount of money will contain no matter how much Eddie bleeds into it. Santamaria is not a leader and has created a culture that reeks of lack of accountability and inability to execute on literally anything meaningful. All that money being waved around and there hasn't been a memorable improvement to the platform or an ounce of innovation. I could go on and on but damn man... what a disappointment.
