The latest data shows that almost six people are dying per week from COVID that they caught in Victorian hospitals. There's nothing to suggest that things are better here in NSW but there's no way of knowing because NSW doesn’t collect hospital acquired COVID infections data.

Great reporting of a scandalous situation which is not unique to Queensland. I love how Qld Health minimises the problem of HCWs getting COVID: it represents only 1.3% of total hours worked in Qld Health. That's equivalent to 1,560 workers out of action for a year!!

A friend just telling me about his first ever Covid infection, right now. I asked where he caught it. In hospital, caring for his father in the last week of his life. Well done NSW Health, icing on the cake in this sad week for him.
