Brookelyn Shorey was honored today with a sushi lunch and Sonic drink; she also got to invite a friend, Alaina Pickett, and two special teachers, Mrs. Atkison and Mrs. Bartlotti, to share this awesome lunch!

CONGRATULATIONS to 5th grader Brookelyn Shorey!!! Brookelyn is the only student for the 2023-2024 school year with 100% attendance and 0 tardies. This is such a great achievement! We are so proud of Brookelyn! Thank you for your hard work and dedication Brookelyn!

Note from Nurse Leeann: If your student has medication(s) (epi pens, inhalers, and over the counter meds) in the health room, the following letter will be coming home. Unfortunately if meds are not picked up by 2:35pm on the last day of school, May 23rd, they will be destroyed.

Cowden Night at the Springfield Cardinals is April 23rd. The game starts at 6:05pm.

Our Top 5 participated in a field trip in Springfield: Roberto Morales, 5th grade; Gracyn Young, 4th grade; Harmony McCormack, 4th grade; Genesis Martinez, 4th grade; and Ava Petersburg, 3rd grade.

Cowden's 2nd Annual Amazing Shake Competition was held on January 25-26. We had ~50 students participate on meetings, activities, and show their manners, professional conduct, respect, and their ability to think and speak on their feet. Gracyn Young, 4th grade, won 1st place!
