@PBFeldy All of that is very true, however, the list of coaches who had their dream job and later left is a mile long. Pat might not even be their first choice, but if I'm the AD, I'm making the call. This is such an important hire. I'm really hoping they get it right.

🚨Career announcement🚨: I've worked really hard in this industry over the last eight years to help build friendships, community and traction within this space. I am extremely proud of everything that has been accomplished, but I have decided to leave my current position at RB. Since this is a rather abrupt answer, I don't have everything in place yet, but we are going to come back bigger, better, and stronger than ever. Fantastic work here by @CJMooreHoops. So many people have taken unfair shots at Peterson from afar without knowing what really happened. Part of that is on DP and his camp for not putting the info out, but I'm glad it's happening now. That kid's character and dedication should not be questioned.

I'm 100 percent biased as I grew up with Ferschweiler, but he checks all the boxes. Homegrown. Proven winner. Fierce competitor. Terrific coach. Better guy. He's got a great gig but I'd love to see him in the mix.
