#apstogether Ah, Mrs. Ramsey - a parent who leads with a YES. (I’m the “But it won’t be fine” parent in my household.)

It can be easy to focus on the negatives (we’ve been hearing about them our whole lives 🙄) But what do you actually LOVE about having ADHD?

@sewellchan Pretty powerful to watch the connecting of all those dots as immigrants are used as political pawns this week.

The film draws a powerful thread across slavery, Chinese exclusion, eugenics, antisemitism, immigration restrictions, Japanese incarceration.

@comes_aTime Jab at prep school grads at Amherst? Like Holden Caulfield: “…he went to Andover. Big, big deal.” No one referring to the school would use 3 words. It’s P.A. to locals/townies and Andover to everyone else. #infinitejesttogether

@CoxTeacher Cool, I wouldn't have known that! Gately's just laminating 'em though, so I assume the point is just that the fake IDs got misspelled (and that no one will notice anyway). Characters misspell/misuse lots of words, the best being Antitoi Entertainent.

Thinking about DFW saying to his editor that all errors are intentional and how arrogant that must have sounded… but how exacting he was with the “mistakes.”#infinitejesttogether

@JerryCraft 3rd year teaching New Kid. 8th time reread. A 6th grader today: “Have you ever noticed this story going on in the background with these characters who we don’t ever meet? It’s such a great reminder that everyone around us has their own story going on.” 🤯

@annamomi @TheAtlantic I read it aloud to my children a couple of years ago and was blown away - not what I was expecting! A permanent catchphrase in our house is “Be quiet, you good for nothing croaking cricket!”

I ended up being quite moved by the book - after initially dismissing it as too show offy/too white & male. I think our numbers dwindled(?), but a good sized group all these months later! Well done all! #infinitejesttogether

#InfiniteJestTogether The End. Once you've finished the novel's last page, obviously re-read the opening scene which is its epilogue a year later, up through "You have to love old-fashioned men's rooms ... and who could not love that special and leonine roar of a public . . .

Big congratulations to everyone who made it to the end! Reading along with #InfiniteJestTogether hopefully led to a better understanding than reading it alone.
