@konquistador33 @ThoughtfulSaint Really? Jesus's family? How he cared for His mother? Matt 19:4-6? Eph 5:25-33 & 6:1-4? Col 3? 1 Pet 3? 1 Tim 5? Heb 13? The whole old testament is about families: Adam & Eve, Abraham & Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses. I could go on and on. The whole gospel is about family

@ThoughtfulSaint Literally anything else. Never did Jesus or any prophet talk about families. Like this is so obviously just American conservative evangelism. If the church wants to be seen on par with the Vatican they’re gonna have to talk about relevant issues.

California politicians claim their climate policies are lowering emissions and protecting the environment. But they are actually are doing the opposite. We import oil from 7,500 miles away on giant supertankers instead of producing it responsibly here at home. We mismanage our forests until catastrophic fires explode across the state. Then working families get stuck with the highest gas prices in America. That’s not “saving the planet.” That’s failed leadership.

What your children really want for dinner is you! In an age of constant online connection, we may need to disconnect from technologies and other distractions to truly reconnect with our families. Families grow stronger when they set aside these distractions and spend meaningful time together—learning eternal values like the importance of marriage and children, the purpose of life, and the true source of joy. Parents also have a duty to teach their children practical knowledge apart from gospel principles. Families unite when they do meaningful things together. Happy family experiences strengthen family ties. Camping, sports activities, and other recreation are especially valuable for bonding families. Some may say, “But we have no time for any of that.” To find time to do what is truly worthwhile, many parents will find that they can turn their families on if they all turn their technologies off. What those we love need most is simply time with us. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is our ultimate role model. He will help us as we strive to build these family bonds.

@tvheidihatch The problem here is the legal ability to change your legal sex designation. This should only be possible if your chromosomes align, and the legislature should fix this. Heidi is a fantastic reporter and is doing her best to be fair. Don't rag on her, contact your legislators.

For everyone yelling into the internety abyss: My job is to report the facts as accurately and fairly as possible. Bailey legally changed both name and sex designation under state law. The term transgender identifies someone who transitioned from one sex to another. Reporting that information is about accuracy and consistency with official records, not opinion.

ICYMI: Fauci went to the CIA and overruled their own scientists. He commissioned papers in secret, then cited them as independent evidence. The people determining the origin were the same ones who funded the research. The cover-up is unraveling. More is coming. @WillCainShow

@EricLDaugh The message is clear. I don't know how anyone can see that and think "he lives in a nice hotel". A hotel isn't a home. He doesn't have a home. Any normal human would understand exactly what he's saying.

🚨 JUST IN: After TMZ ran a SMEAR PIECE on him, LA mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt took it to them DIRECTLY on their network — he showed up and PUMMELED the lies They tried saying he misled people about living in the trailer because his house burned down — that he's at a "hotel" PRATT FIRES BACK: "So this idea that anyone's like, oh, he's at a hotel! I'm at a hotel because these PSYCHOPATHS are messaging me every day. They're going to kill me because Nithya Raman is calling me a fascist, because I don't want people to have their kids next to drug addicts at the park or stepping in human poop when you get your matcha!" 🔥🔥🔥 "[The trailer] is where I will live until I have a new house...Where my kids are in Santa Barbara right now is a temporary housing. This is where I live. This is where they burn my house down. So this semantics or the nuance of this is the consequences of their failed leadership!" "Again, I don't live at the Hotel Bel Air...I don't live in the Santa Barbara." "That's where Karen Bass, Mayor Bass, BURNED DOWN MY HOUSE!" THE LIES WON'T WORK

@RandPaul @htmcg Furthermore, the idea of a preemptive pardon has not been tested in court. Frankly, I think it should be unconstitutional. Presidential pardons should only be allowed AFTER the justice system has had due process.

Now about that pardon. Biden's autopen pardon of Fauci may not be valid. If Biden did not personally sign it, it is legally suspect. The only way to test it is for the DOJ to charge someone covered by one of these pardons. I have a suggestion for the test case: Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Today, a CIA whistleblower sat before my committee and confirmed what I've said for years: government officials, including Dr. Fauci, deliberately misled the American people about the origins of COVID-19. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is sworn testimony. 🧵

@CoxWebDev @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen When would the thief ever receive a baptism? Being born of water doesn't refer to baptism. The question at hand is can a man be born twice? By water is part of the natural birth process.

@edlars53 @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen He already paid for the sins of all mankind. 1 John 2:2 Why? Because He loves us John 3:16 But if we reject His gift, He will not force us to be saved. That's not crazy. That's logical. That's merciful. That's just.

@edlars53 @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen Acts 17:30 says God commands all to repent. Why would God command this if we cannot choose? What kind of a just being makes a command if He does not give them power to fulfill that command?

@edlars53 @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen Exactly. That's why we can't draw a conclusion from the thief. What we can draw a conclusion from is the words of Jesus: "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit"

@CoxWebDev @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen If you make the claim baptism is required to save you deny Ephesians. Your choice but a dangerous hook to hang your hat on. An argument from silence (argumentum ex silentio) is a logical inference where a conclusion is drawn based on the absence of mention or evidence..

@edlars53 @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen The debt is paid. But we have to accept Jesus as our new creditor. Thus God can be just and merciful. A God who picks and chooses who is saved is not just or merciful. Jesus paid the price for all and allows us to choose whether to accept His gift or not

@edlars53 @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen Yes, salvation is through the Grace of Jesus Christ. We cannot save ourselves. He has extended His grace to us, but allows us to choose whether we accept it or not. We accept it by believing, repenting, and following his commandments (like baptism)

@edlars53 @ThoughtfulSaint @conservmillen No, neither of us do, so obviously you can't take that one example and use it to say baptism isn't necessary, especially when it contradicts what Jesus explicitly said in John 3
