@SkySportsPL A poor quality game neither side deserved to win. Palace were pretty poor in the first half, much improved in the second, but lacked the ability to put the ball in tbe net. West Ham seemed content with a point, which might be important come tbe end of the season.

@DougieCritchley Mitchell’s talent is often covering the break when the centre backs go forward. He lacks the quality to go past defenders - unlike Munoz. Palace miss Guehi, who encourages Mitchell to go forward. Unfortunately, Canvot became far too cautious, slowing down any forward progress.

I haven't watched Crystal Palace in person for a few seasons... so apologies if this is the most basic point or comes across as condescending, that's not my intention. But what struck me most about them (and I'm sure many Palace fans on a weekly basis)... is how often they turn down one of their most effective passing options. Tyrick Mitchell was nearly always available at left wing back, but in my opinion he didn't push on high or wide enough and secondly didn't demand the ball. Jaydee Canvot started the game well, but he's very young and he lost confidence on the ball in the 2nd half, blunting their left side. I've never met Mitchell, he seems like a lovely, very relaxed guy, but I'd have loved to see him demand the ball, especially when he was in so much space. If Palace were able to match the intensity, threat and athleticism that Munoz offers on the other side (no mean feat), I think they'd be a much better attacking outfit and for me, I'd like to see Mitchell develop his attacking capabilities to match his obvious defensive qualities!

There are many, many terrible sports commentators who don’t add value to the pictures, speak non-stop and are, quite frankly, boring. Near the top of the list is Mr David Gower, who is currently ruining coverage of the England/Sri Lanka match on @tntsports @BBCSport @SkySports

@tntsports Sadly, the cricket from Sri Lanka is being ruined by the poor commentary. It’s like attending a conference, and listening to a panel discussion. Academic, patronising and verbose - Why do sports producers thinks this is good?

🚨🇦🇹BREAKING: According to @carrusel Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner will not renew his contract with the club. Palace have now set their sights on Getafe manager José Bordalás and will offer him a project he desires.

@BobbyManzi A win is a win. Boy, it was painful to watch. Time and again, Palace lost the ball in tight situations. Tired? Lack of quality? Either way, Palace need an additional striker and a quality midfielder in the January window.

Crystal Palace should look streets ahead of Burnley, but are barely matching them at times. Poor 35 minutes against a side who seem extremely timid at the back. Laborious from Palace. #CPFC

@DeadlineDayLive Why would Wharton want to go to @ManUtd. He is already at a top club. More importantly, a club with a great culture., flying high in the league and in Europe. When will the pilfering of @CPFC players stop! And, when will media stop being complicit.

🚨 Manchester United want to strengthen their midfield and are planning to launch a £60M move for Adam Wharton. United are believing that a bid in that region would be good enough to tempt Crystal Palace to sell their sought-after playmaker. As reported many times, Wharton is wanted by a host of clubs including: 🔸 Real Madrid 🔸 Liverpool 🔸 Chelsea (Source: @MirrorFootball)

@SkySportsNews Why on earth would Wharton want to go to Man Utd? What is the attraction? He is already at a top club. One that has won two trophies, flying high in the Premier League and in Europe. Lazy journalism. Will this pilfering of @CPFC talent never stop!

@montie Tim, all I see is a party, who peddle negativity, grievance and pessimism. There is very little joy or, indeed, hope! Echoes of the Trump campaign.

At the end of my first Reform conference I try and answer the question: What's the biggest difference between Tories and Reformers? The Conservatives are largely tactical, wanting to win votes. Reformers are largely substantial, wanting to change the country.

@steverichards14 Whether you agree that Chris Mason is biased, I confess his presentational style can be very confusing, rather meaningless and headline seeking.

@SkyCricket Could the producers tell Sean Pollock and Nick Knight to stop having conversations while the play is happening. It is disrespectful to the viewer. Or, do producers have no control over these presenters?
