Now Public: In December, I joined other UN experts to express serious concern to the Government of #Pakistan regarding reports that human rights lawyers Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha were subject to repeated criminal prosecutions and arrests. This appeared to be an arbitrary use of the legal system as an instrument of harassment and intimidation, in retaliation for their work advocating for victims of alleged human violations. (1/2)
